This was a concert in the Baroque hall of the Linz castle. The walls are partially hung with beautiful tapestries from the 18th century, displaying hunting motives and scenes. These perfectly suited Telemann’s wind overtures. The congenial mix of sound and space was a great inspiration to me. In the end not only the hunter’s pride but a lot of jest and humour seemed to be a musical incentive for the wind players. (Christa Moritz)
