When L’Orfeo started 25 years ago mobiles were still a novelty. If need be you could phone around to get an orchestra together, but making a photograph with the same gadget was inconceivable.
When L’Orfeo turned 10 years old it was an altogether different story with mobiles and photographs.
The musicians made photos when they got together for rehearsals, during the audiences’ applause or before a concert, discovering new venues and places and of course, when they had a party after a concert. Come to think of it, they were always making photographs.
We requested the musicians to ransack their photo memory space and send us some memorable souvenirs. They kindly did, and here they are.
