Telemann – Overtures for Recorder and Orchestra

The recorder appears in the most virtuosic and finest shades. These are taken up by the relishing strings and, as if in a ball game, passed back to the soloist in an arch. The playing is perceptive and concentrated, quite contagious to the listener with her paintbrush. (Christa Moritz)
