This time it wasn’t so easy to trace the L’Orfeo Barockorchester’s performances in Hohenems with my paintbrush since a person in the audience unfortunately felt disturbed by my activities. It was nevertheless possible to express a fleeting glimpse of the concert. The larger part of this work was done when I heard the recordings of the live concerts. Even though the size of the orchestra was adapted to the score of the Schubert symphonies the sound remained transparent, also in explosive tutti sections. To the audience and the performing musicians this was a special encounter that no one will forget. Schubert would’ve been enthralled with this interpretation. (Christa Moritz)
